Granada has been inhabited by humans for at least 2500 years, dominated by the Alhambra Palace a Moorish castle from when all of southern Spain was under Islamic rule. Strategically located it has been occupied by the Greeks, Romans, Visigoths, and Byzantines thought-out its long history. It is a must see, not only for its history, but, now, for its nightlife, shopping and eating. If you don’t have more time this one day tour is a taste what you will come back for.

On the Costa de Sol departure for Granada at the set time from your nearest bus stop. Upon arrival in the city, enjoy a brief sightseeing drive and then some free time in the city Centre where you can explore at your leisure. This will be followed by a visit to the Alhambra, with a local guide, a universally renowned Arab monument which was almost classed as the 8th wonder of the world, and includes the palace of Charles V, the Gardens, the Generalife and the Nazari palaces. Transfer to the restaurant for lunch. If you have not elected to include lunch, you will have some free time. Later, we will go for a brief panoramic drive with a stop at the San Cristobal Viewpoint and return to the Costa del Sol
